Ronald J. SasielaRonald J. Sasiela

Prior to forming Sasiela & Associates, LLC, Ronald J. Sasiela held senior management positions at Icelandic USA, Inc. for over 23 years.  Before joining Coldwater Seafood (the predecessor to Icelandic® USA, Inc.) he was Research and Development Director for the leading batter and breading manufacturer in the U. S., Modern Maid Food Products of NY.  

Ron Sasiela currently maintains the title Dean Emeritus, Seafood University.  The "University" was Icelandic’s premiere sales and employee training program. During his tenure at Icelandic, Dean Sasiela was integral in curriculum development, faculty management, facilities, budget, and other support services.
  
Today, Ron Sasiela shares his extensive background in and knowledge of the seafood industry via custom-designed training programs, consulting services, and speaking engagements.  His insightful "insiders" view, combined with an ability to adapt to each client’s unique needs, ideally positions him to motivate teams and grow businesses.

Mr. Sasiela earned a B. S. in Chemistry and completed graduate studies under Dr. Donald Rogers in physical organic chemistry at Long Island University.  He was awarded a Masters in Engineering Management (M.E.M.) and completed post-graduate work in the emerging field of KM - Knowledge Management, both at The George Washington University.  Additionally, he is qualified to practice patent law and has traveled to Iceland, Europe, Asia and South America on assignments.

Setting A World Record

Ron Sasiela assists with Guinness World RecordRon Sasiela led the team that was responsible for setting "The World's Largest Serving of Fish & Chips" record on March 15, 2004.  The record still stands today.
